When tasked with creating the branding for Enviro, the mission extended far beyond simple design. The goal: address a prevalent issue in the fitness and climbing industries: the amounts of single-use plastic tubes discarded annually. Our challenge was clear—to design not only a superior grip product but one that aligned with the growing demand for sustainability, combining high-performance functionality with a conscious approach to reducing environmental waste.
Drawing inspiration from values like effectiveness, reliability, and strength, the brand’s visual identity focused on performance-driven simplicity. The design deliberately avoided overused green tones, instead embracing a palette of deep, cold blues, symbolising the trust and depth of the oceans Enviro seeks to protect. This colour choice subtly reinforces the brand’s core message of environmental responsibility while projecting a strong, reliable image that resonates with fitness enthusiasts.
Central to Enviro’s branding was the use of a minimalist logo, crafted in a monospace font. The clean lines and uniform spacing reflect both the precision of high-performance athletic gear and the brand’s commitment to sustainability. Packaging was purposefully streamlined to reduce waste, forgoing classic external boxes to create a straightforward unboxing experience. This thoughtful, intentional design approach ensures that Enviro stands out in the competitive fitness market, showcasing how functionality and sustainability can seamlessly merge into a powerful, impactful brand identity.
